Tommy Hilfiger launched its first Hilfiger Denim store in Johannesburg.
Tommy Hilfiger, which is owned by PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], is pleased to announce the opening of the first Hilfiger Denim store in Johannesburg, South Africa, on May 31, 2015. Located in the prestigious Sandton neighborhood, it is the first Hilfiger Denim store in South Africa and the latest addition to a growing portfolio of Tommy Hilfiger locations worldwide. The store is operated by Stuttafords LTD, exclusive franchisee of the Tommy Hilfiger brand in South Africa.
The Hilfiger Denim designs are inspired by all-American denim classics with a casual modern edge. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Heartland, is inspired by a road trip across the United States. Heading off the beaten path, the collection travels from desert and mountain terrains to stunning coastal vistas – visiting some of the most picturesque and interesting spots in the country. This exploration of America’s midland embraces the outdoors to the fullest, resulting in surplus, maritime and military influences combined with Hilfiger Denim’s signature rock‘n’roll twist.
The Hilfiger Denim Sandton store showcases the latest 2015 Hilfiger Denim collections for men and women, including accessories. Its interior is designed to reflect the mix of classic and modern influences that epitomize Hilfiger Denim’s youthful and irreverent spirit. Americana memorabilia, vintage fixtures and industrial accents throughout the space reflect the brand’s cool, rock-and-roll, all-American spirit.
A NIGHT WITH THE THREADED MAN
Ted Baker collaborated with Siya Beyile, founder and creative director of “The Threaded Man” for a great shopping evening at Stuttafords Sandton City.

Due to the 70s trend, warm colours are back; think nudes, olives and mustards. I found this winter colour grid from pantone, which will be a great help when you put together your outfits, as you can see the colours that match and those that don’t.
One of my favourite things about winter is wearing coats and jackets. Currently, my favourite is this Ted Baker ombré coat. If you’ve been reading my style blogs, you’ll know that I buy pieces that are good value for money. This coat works well for me because it can be worn with a casual outfit, and looks just as good over a suit.
Boots are a must-have item for winter, and they’re best paired with well-fitted jeans. They’re perfect for the cold weather because they obviously keep your feet dry and warm, but they’re also easy to clean. While I love sneakers, they’re a bit of a nightmare in winter!”
JEN SU BOOK LAUNCH
JEN SU: FROM Z TO A-LISTER
Stuttafords Brand Ambassador, TV & Radio Presenter Jen Su, officially launched her hot new book “From Z to A-Lister: How To Build Your Personal Brand” in a glamorous launch party at Stuttafords Sandton City.
She introduced her four favourite looks from Stuttafords brands Ted Baker, Banana Republic, GAP, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Jen also performed on vocals and piano, recounting her days as a pop singer in Asia, and autographed copies of her book, while video loops of her life in the South African social scene played throughout.
Gareth Cliff and KassNaidoo were the celebrity emcees of the evening. DJ Dino Bravo provided the music.
Celebrity guests who attended the event included Mampho Brescia, Terry Pheto, Tbo Touch, ProVerb, KhanyiMbau, Chris Jaftha, Jonathan Boyton-Lee, Jay Anstey, Maya Mia, Tarina Patel, PabiMoloi, Lee-Ann Liebenberg, Daniel Baron, Wardah Hartley, KoketsoModiba, Garth Taylor, and LeratoMoloi. Exquisite gourmet food was served by Belle’s Patisserie, GH Mumm provided the champagne, and additional beverages were provided by Chivas Regal, Absolut Elyx, Norman Goodfellows, and Fleur du Cap. Goodie bags included Bvlgari gift sets, a copy of Jen Su’s book, and delicious Baci chocolates – plus lucky draw prizes from Tom Ford, Uber, and Clinique.
“From Z to A” will be available in all bookshops across South Africa in mid November through Tracey McDonald Publishers and Jonathan Ball Distribution.

Sandton City, 6 August – Touch Lifestyle Products launched its first female fragrance, Touch Femme last night. The sexy and exquisitely feminine fragrance, created in Paris by Firmenich and made in R.S.A, made its debut at Stuttafords in Sandton City.
The in-store launch, was attended by key luxury media and marketing professionals, celebrities, politicians and Jozi’s socialites. American R&B sensation Trey Songz also made an appearance at the event.
